Das war ein Geschenk für unser Patenkind. Selbstverständlich sind wir davon ausgegangen, dass es sich zumindest um etwas bibelähnliches handelt. Jedoch mit einer Bibel hat dieses Buch nichts gemeinsam. Es ist sicherlich gut gemeint, auch ein nettes Buch aber für unseren Zweck ein Fehlkauf. So haben wir dann noch auf die Schnelle eine andere Kinderbibel bestellt.

Für meinen Geschmack ist dieses Buch als Kinderbibel wenig geeignet. Die Illustrationen sind mir zu modern, die Texte sind mir zu wenig kindgerecht geschrieben bzw. auch für einen Erwachsenen nicht schön zu lesen, oft strophenartig, wie bei einem Gedicht. Zudem steht auf jeder zweiten Seite ein Text zu einem Thema "aus der Lebenswelt von Kindern" (Geburtstag, Freundschaft o.ä.), wobei ich mich frage, was das in einer Bibel zu tun hat...? Fazit: Ist Geschmacksache...

Eine wunderschön illustrierte Kinderbibel, die ganz lebensnah an die Erfahrungswelt von Kindern anknüpft. Der Bezug zu den original Bibelstellen hilft dann beim Einordnen in die "richtige" Bibel!
